Oral Traditions Today: Returning to the African Village

Sisters of the Desert Sun is supporting South Mountain Community College's Storytelling Institute in their Black History Month presentation Oral Traditions Today: Returning to the African Village in collaboration with the ASU African Drum Ensemble and the Kawambe Omowale African Drum and Dance Theater. This will be a festive evening of traditional chants, African Drumming, Dancing, Storytelling, folktales, music, and dance which will transport the listener to the West Coast region of Africa.
