SDS Selects "The Dirty Girls Social Club" For September

New York Times bestselling author, Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez is on the Sisters of the Desert Sun agenda for September. 

 

The Dirty Girls Social Club will inspire spirited dialogue about love, relationships, parenting, careers, and womanhood.  Through her characters, Valdes-Rodriguez' celebrates the diversity of Latin-Americans and Hispanic communities across the country.  Despite their differences, the sucias embody the bonds of friendship that bring strength, hope and courage when needed most.  Join us as we end our summer reading with this fun novel and kick off our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
