Sisters of the Desert Sun Meet Author DaVaun Sanders

Sisters of the to Desert Sun will welcome author DaVaun Sanders to our annual Summer Author Reception which will be held at the Hotel Palomar in downtown Phoenix in August.  SDS members acquainted with Sanders as a phenomenal poet and spoken word artist were eager to read his debut novel The Seedbearing Prince.  We have not been disappointed.  Sanders has given us an amazing adventure.  His incredible gift of storytelling is evidenced by his eloquence and ability to engage his readers as he brings the characters of another world to life.  A riveting, page turner, The Seedbearing Prince has made the Sisters of the Desert Sun's "must read" list.  For more information about this and other SDS events email us at sistersofthedesertsun@gmail.com or visit us on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads.

About our Author
DaVaun Sanders has resided in Phoenix, Arizona since 2002, where the local spoken word community fostered his passion to pursue writing novels and screenplays. “The Seedbearing Prince” began as a dream vivid enough to play like a movie trailer. Deciding to write the debut novel took some time, as it wasn't part of "The Plan," but the housing market collapse forced DaVaun's small design firm under in 2008. He eventually decided to step away from architecture and plunge into writing full-time, and is loving every minute as an indy publisher.

The Seedbearing Prince: Part I has reached as high as #1 on Amazon’s genre lists for Science Fiction and Epic Fantasy and is a perennial favorite in the top 100 downloads. DaVaun’s screenplay “Vault of Souls,” placed as a top three finalist in Phoenix Comicon’s 2014 Short Screenplay Contest.  DaVaun is currently hard at work editing Dayn Ro’Halan’s latest adventure, “The Course of Blades,” the third of six books in the World Breach series.
